The V10X Series provides comprehensive electrical safety testing across AC hipot, DC hipot, insulation resistance (IR), ground bond, and 4-wire low-resistance measurements within a single platform. Built on Vitrek’s proven high-power hipot architecture, the system delivers output voltages up to 15 kV DC and 10 kV AC standard (expandable to 30 kV AC with external option), with configurable current sourcing from 50 mA DC to 200 mA AC for demanding load conditions.
Touchscreen Workflow Reduces Setup Time and Operator Error
Unlike legacy button-based hipot testers, the V10X uses a full-color touchscreen interface with graphical sequence editing, allowing engineers to visually construct multi-step test profiles, set voltage ramps, configure dwell times, and define pass/fail limits without navigating nested menus. Real-time measurement charts display voltage, current, and resistance trends during test execution, enabling immediate detection of insulation degradation, arc events, or DUT anomalies. Precision Measurement with DSP Technology and Arc Detection
Advanced DSP technology enables high-speed voltage regulation, pico-ampere leakage current measurement (100 pA resolution), and tera-ohm insulation resistance readings with phase angle analysis to separate resistive and capacitive leakage components. High-power DC models provide rapid charge/discharge cycles for high-capacitance devices such as inverters, motor drives, and solar panels, significantly reducing test cycle time compared to standard hipot platforms.
