Advanced Sensing Technologies Behind Our Products

Laser Triangulation Sensors

Our Microtek system uses laser triangulation to offer exceptional accuracy for up to one meter High -resolution triangulation lasers are typically used in displacement and position monitoring applications where high accuracy, stability and low temperature drift are required. Quite frequently these laser sensors are used in process monitoring and closed-loop feedback control systems.

Capacitance Sensors

Our Accumeasure capacitive sensors can offer resolution down to pico meters and linearity of ±0.01 (%FSR). They are typically used in displacement and position monitoring applications where high accuracy, stability and low temperature drift are required.

Fiber Optic Sensors

The Fotonic Sensor is a non-contact instrument which uses the fiber optics lever principle for displacement, vibration and surface-condition
measurements. The sensor transmits light through a flexible fiber-optic probe, receives light reflected from a target surface, and converts this light
into an electrical signal. The signal voltage is then used to determine target surface details of a target surface including changes reflectivity and transparency.

Laser Thickness Gauge System

The Microtrak 3 TGS system uses laser triangulation to perform a one-dimensional measurement of a target. The laser projects a beam of light onto a surface which is then reflected back. The returned beam is converted into a distance measurement. The laser is suitable for measuring all types of diverse surfaces such as metallic, wood, ceramic, steel, or plastics in all colors.

Engine Vibration and Balancing

Engine Vibration and Balancing

The PBS product lines correlate vibration magnitude to the specific moving parts within an engine. In many cases there are multiple spools so different vibration content is “matched” to each of the respective spools. The system also provides detailed recommendations on how to better balance the engine.

Handheld Signal Source Generator

The MTI 1510A is a sophisticated two channel battery powered microprocessor controlled direct digital synthesizer. It can generate sine, square, saw tooth and triangle continuous signals on both channels as well as single pulse and odd pulses on the B channel to simulate tachometer output pulses.
